Radical Self-Care fosters the development of innate caring perceptions and awareness, empathy and compassion for the individual & organization.

ABOUT US

The Center for Conscious Care Giving is an integrative self care training and practice center, with a vision of creating a consciously caring world. Current models of care delivery are externally focused., meaning we give our caring qualities, skills and talents to others. This leaves the care provider depleted and burned out.

TCFCCG uses an Internal Care Delivery Model to foster the growth and development of our self care students, practitioners, teachers and coaches.

We use the Radical Self-Care Planning Process as a template to plan our own self-care and to plan the care of our organization. Using the same process plan our indiivdiual and collective care helps us to keep shared values, vision and intentions aligned; empowering our students, practitioners, and coaches to bring their best selves to create the lives they desire.

We believe that when we learn, practice and embody Radical Self-Care at all levels, we increase our passion, resilience and stamina to share our caring qualities with ourselves, each other and all of us.

Conscious care givers acknowledge that humans are energy beings and we are wirelessly connected and sharing energy information with others and the environment at all times.

With this understanding, all members of our conscious care giving community are trained in the energy caring healing art of Reiki.

The movement towards conscious care requires a lifelong commitment to Self-Care. By reinvesting in ourselves individually and organizationally, we are continually putting our best selves forward, creating, leading, and expanding offerings throughout our communities.

History

Where and When: In 2012, a dozen, like minded individuals gathered around a dining room table and discussed the possibility of bringing the art and science of Reiki to the public on a broad scale. A space was found and The Reiki Way Learning Center opened its doors in Brick Twp. We were blessed with space and began Reiki sessions, attunements, classes and many thoughtful discussions over tea. Through time, talented and varied practitioners joined the circle; our non-profit was formed and we broadened our Mission to become The Center for Conscious Care Giving. 2020 brought the sale of our building during the pandemic and our in-person classes could not be held. We quickly adapted and became the Virtual Learning Center you find here. Our scope is broad, and our service remains personal.
