ABOUT US
Let us begin the journey to be our
Best Caring Self
The Center for Conscious Care (TCFCC), a nonprofit dedicated to integrative self-care training, practice, and
healing, was initially founded in 2012 as part of a Master’s thesis project to support burned-out caregivers.
As we've evolved, so has our vision. We aim to create a consciously caring world by fostering and nurturing innate caring resources, conditions, and capacities that empower individuals to become their best caring selves.
This energy enhances their well-being and positively influences the quality of life for those around them. These individuals are the future leaders of a consciously caring world; embodying a transformative and revolutionary approach to conscious leadership that will serve as the foundation for a more caring and compassionate world.
At the heart of this ambitious vision, three fundamental premises guide our path:
1. We Are Energetic Human Beings:
We acknowledge that every individual is a vibrant, energetic being, resonating with unique frequencies. This understanding underscores our approach to wellbeing. We recognize that true wellbeing spans across multiple dimensions – physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual – and is profoundly influenced by the energetic essence that defines us.
2. Self-Care - An internal care delivery model:
From this energetic perspective, self-care is an internal care delivery model that directs an individual's caring resources back into the Self system; building caring capacities and promoting conditions that support physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual wellness. Prioritizing self-care shifts the entire paradigm of care, creating a healthy foundation that naturally ripples outward supporting all forms of care delivery.
3. Trauma Informed Healing:
Our home and work environments are often out of balance and dysfunctional, causing stress, drama & trauma. Our self care practitioners and coaches are trained to recognize signs and symptoms of trauma and its triggers and create spaces of safety to avoid potential re-traumatization. Our programs offer self care healing practices and coaching that align well with any conventional counseling approaches. Our understanding of human energetics and mastery in a variety of energy healing modalities empowers individuals to reach beyond the traditional to create and personalize their own healing journey.
At The Center for Conscious Care, we are dedicated to grounding our vision into daily life by offering virtual and in-person retreats and programs meticulously designed to nurture every dimension of well-being and help individuals unlock their true caring leadership potentials.
We go beyond merely teaching; we seek to embody and live the principles of conscious care. With a community of experienced integrative self care practitioners, teachers, and coaches, we role model and coach individuals and groups, how to bring self care into their daily home and work lives.
We personalize our retreats and programs to meet the unique needs of individuals, groups, and organizations. As we advance into a new era of self-care, energy healing, and integrative wellness.
The Center for Conscious Care invites you to join us on our journey toward a world where consciously caring for our whole selves is the cornerstone of a brighter, more harmonious, caring and compassionate future
